In the midst of the Cristero Rebellion, Eusebius Joaquin Gonzalez (now named Aaron Joaquin Gonzalez) claims to have had a vision where God told to leave Monterrey and head to Guadalajara, Jalisco to carry out a mission of preaching a restored Christianity.
The religious movement has gained traction in different Mexican states. It is expected to gain such traction in twenty to forty years time in the United States and Western Europe.
The Cristero Rebellion was a major struggle in Mexico that was the response to the imposition of secularist, anti-Catholic and anti-clerical articles of the Mexican Constitution of 1917.
The catalyst for the new movement first started in the north of Mexico. This is where North American business owners, Protestant Christians, and politicians built a movement to completely change the traditionally Catholic nation into a place which would be home to secular economic expansion. The leader of the movement, Plutarch Elijah Calles had placed regulations on the Catholic Church. Such regulations include a prerequisite of priests and closing down church schools. The church responded with a strike which caused chaos among the Catholic population.
In Jalisco (where Joaquin was called to) and the other states of central Mexico, this incited a rebellion by the peasant population.
Not much other than what already has been stated can be said about this new movement due to the fact that it is currently in its infancy.
