As we come into the last day o fare first Olympics we may have not come up on the top but it was still a good run. On day two The first gold medal awarded was won by Charles Jewtraw of the United States in the 500-meter speed skate. In day 4 Sonja Henie, at just eleven years old, skates in the ladies' figure skating competition. Although she finishes last, she becomes popular with fans all over the world, Hopefully, we can see her compete and become higher up in the competitions. As day 6 comes around the figure skater Gillis Grafström was the first one to successfully defend his Summer Olympics title at the Winter Olympics. Overall Norway took the place for first with 4 golds, 7 silvers, and 6 bronze medals making 17 in total. While we came in 5th with a total of only 4 medals 1 in gold, 2 in silver, and 1 in bronze. We hope to have more success in the next winter Olympics but still did good in the 1st.
